Vision Sessions

Why? Our favorite kind of session is the one we get to explore and create something refreshingly unique just for our clients.
Thus, we have our Vision Sessions.

For who? It could be for your engagement, it could be to mark an anniversary, it could just be a wild idea you + your love just wanted to try for fun, it could even be just a portrait session to show some self love to yourself. Whatever it is, we want to imagine with you and bring it to life.

What is it? An extended couple session that allows us more time to plan, create and execute with you.
You + Us will develop the session’s direction, theme and style until we have organized something completely original to you guys.

Karissa + Drew

This session was to commemorate Karissa & Drew’s one year wedding anniversary.
On their wedding day, in quintessential Savannah fashion, it poured rain and they weren’t able to finish their wedding portraits. We gave them some closure by dressing them back up in their wedding clothes, heading over to their wedding venue and finishing the portraits they started one year before. The rest of the session was dedicated to this last year of marriage for them and all of the things they love to do together.

Becky + Mike

With a vintage “hollywood-esque” vision as our starting point for this session, nothing could go wrong.
We began at one of our favorite local bars, then model strutted over to a busy street in Historic Savannah and then finished — classically we might add — on a rooftop garage overlooking one of the United States oldest cities. The best part? We were also invited to photograph their wedding which we cannot wait for.

Briar + Gus

This session revolved around a 1950’s VW Beatle. From there, the vision for the rest of the session came together quite easily.
The special part was this exact car belonged to Gus’s grandmother when it was originally purchased and Gus just finished restoring the car to it’s original glory.
Thanks grandma for the magical session your car inspired all these years later.

Jamie + Ava

This was a little different for us. We don’t do a ton of family sessions but when Jamie (mom) reached out to us on Instagram and told us what she wanted, we were all in. This is what she said, “...it will be my daughter and I. She’s getting older (9) and I feel like this will be one of the last opportunities to capture her while she still looks like a little girl and capture the pure love that we have for one another.“
It was one of those sessions that made us really grateful for our job. And for people willing to invite us into their worlds for a couple of hours.

Kaitlin + Ryan

The idea for this session was “An Afternoon with Kaitlin and Ryan”. It had been seven years since they had pictures together at their wedding and we really wanted to celebrate their comfortability with one another. Both being fans of craft beer, we stopped by a store and grabbed some local brews and then proceeded to a dairy farm just outside of Savannah for an intimate picnic. It was a magical time with two very kind humans and we were really grateful just to be there.

Chelsea’s Portrait Session

This session was centered around a new season in Chelsea’s life; a season full of new things like roller skating and baking. Chelsea admittedly was not very good at either of those YET, but she was unapologetic in her desire to try and that was our favorite thing about her. We really wanted to celebrate her boldness to try new things… and in the process, we left being inspired ourselves to want to find new adventures to fill our days with.
